Texicana

East Dallas based band, Texicana, started as a group of friends who got together at a neighborhood bar with the idea to start a band to see what would happen.

After just a few months, the newly formed group would find themselves winning the Dallas indie radio station 91.7 KXT’s Tenth Anniversary Tiny Cake Contest, ultimately sharing the stage with Grace Potter and Devon Gilfillian for a sold out event at The Rustic. That’s when the band knew their purpose was concrete.

Now nominated for both Best New Act and Best Folk/Americana Act of Central Track’s 2020 Music Honors, Texicana is currently working towards releasing their first EP, No Good Reason, in the Spring.
